Overview & Reviews
The power rear hatch is now standard on all models, as is wood and leather trim for the shift knob and steering wheel. The power passenger seat is upgraded from four-way to eight-way while the optional navigation system gets Bluetooth capability and voice actuated control. Last year's standard six-disc CD changer moves to the options list, making way for a standard single-CD setup.
- Well-appointed interior, rides more like a sedan than an SUV, loaded with high-tech features, solid reputation for reliability, excellent dealer service.
- Less powerful than some of its competitors, soft ride makes for merely adequate handling in corners, no third-row seat option.

My Lexus - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Betty - April 26 - 1:16 amMy Lexus RX330 is the epitome of luxury and I love driving, riding or just looking at it. It is everything I would want in an automobile except the gas mileage of 19 - 20 miles to the gallon could be higher. I feel safer in this car due to the construction and the way it handles in snow proves the Lexus engineers knew what they were doing. I wont buy another vehicle except a Lexus.

RATING OF LEXUS SUV FX 330 - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Barb - April 17 - 10:06 amBefore trying out my Lexus SUV, I tried all makes of SUV vehicles from all auto dealerships, and fell in love with the LEXUS SUV. I had to have it and it is pleasure to drive, quiet to drive, basically "0" road noise, some with the moon roof open, but not bad...steers wonderfully well. The radio sounds like surround sound, I especially like the CD changer...it has every bell and whistle, the only thing, every other person in Texas has one...and it doesnt really seem special with every one having one.

Beware - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Mrbmom - January 6 - 6:46 amThis car has a terrible blind spot , making it very dangerous to back out of parking lots and other road situations. No amount of luxury can compensate for this flaw. Also, it is inconvenient for me to be able to open the trunk only with a key, since I usually have my hands full with packages and the key is buried in my purse.

Rattle Box - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Eric - November 22 - 10:56 pmThis Lexus has soooo many recalls for dash squeaks and rattles that its amazing it got out of engineering. Ours has been in the shop 7 times in 2 months for interior noises. The air conditioning vents rattle and click, the instrument cluster bezel squeaks, and every loaner we have gotten does the same thing. The engine is buttery smooth and very reliable, but we have to get rid of this car. My wife and I spend countless hours driving around trying to find the sources of all the plastic rattles. LOW BUILD QUALITY on the interior. Too much cheap plastic. Its too bad, we cant figure out what other car we would want more.

headlights on Lexus Rx330 - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Joe T. - November 14 - 8:50 amIf you live in the Long Island area and NYC area your RX330 will last about a month before your headlights are stolen. Poor design on Lexuss part, it takes 30 seconds to steal the lights with a crow bar (plus the body gets damaged) Otherwise the Rx330 is a fantastic vehicle. Its very comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Quiet and smooth ride. gas mileage is so great though, but its a great vehicle.

style and performance - 2005 Lexus RX 330
By Gerald McNerney - October 18 - 9:26 amI was interested in a Buick Rendevous when I test drove the RX 330. It was so much better I never hesitated in deciding on this car even though it cost more. Fun to drive, plenty of power, real quiet and decent mileage.

By Nona Helms - September 26 - 9:16 pmThis car has been a joy to own. It is easily loaded with passengers, and cargo. It is quiet riding, and well designed. The car has ample power for city, and highway use. The visability is good, and the controls are handy.
